Have you been the Public Gardens in Halifax? There are lots of flowers during the summer and fall. I'm afraid I don't know the names of many flowers but I do appreciate their colour, shapes and smell.
I still remember painting these flowers. Some days, painting can be hard as you try to get the right stroke but on this evening, the petals just flowed effortly out from the brush. It was a very satisfying painting session!
